a shade loving perennial plant from southern china, this stunning flowering shrub is very easy to grow and care. large glossy dark tropical looking leaves with thousands of pink bell shaped flowers hanging on long slender, highly branched stems in late autumn and go well into mid winter for almost one and half month. with good moisture and shade provided, the bush is often covered in bloom. once flowers spent, trim the bush all the way down to the base and it will regrow into a round compact bush again in spring. great plant for pot in veranda or shade gardens. cold hardy to about -5 c
